Implementing resistance training in secondary schools: A cluster RCT

Kennedy SG, et al. - The effect of a school-based intervention targeting resistance training (RT) for adolescents was scrutinized in this research. The upshot of this school-based RT intervention was immediate and sustained improvements in upper body muscular fitness (MF) and RT skill competency. This, in turn, illustrated an effective and scalable approach for delivering RT within secondary schools.
