Hasegawa Y et al. – The authors report a case of metastatic renal cell carcinoma in the native kidney of a renal transplant recipient. Subsequent administration of zoledronic acid and sorafenib stabilized the disease for 18 months after nephrectomy. This is the first reported case of sorafenib administration to a renal transplant recipient with metastatic renal cell carcinoma.
