Nirmal TJ et al. –Short–term alpha–blocker monotherapy is not useful for alpha–blocker naive patients. But multimodal therapy needs to be explored addressing various aspects of CP/CPPS, including adequate pain relief, improvement in voiding symptoms, and quality–of–life issues.
