Liu HT et al. – Urinary nerve growth factor (NGF) level is a promising biomarker for the diagnosis of overactive bladder. Measurement of urine NGF levels may serve as a useful objective test to evaluate idiopathic detrusor overactivity and neuropathic detrusor overactivity treatment outcome such as with botulinum toxin A treatment.
