Oregon Payer To Estimate Costs

A new state law requires health plans to offer treatment cost estimates for 35 medical procedures to their members and providers. The software enables providers to generate an estimate of the patient's financial responsibility at the point of service. Information available via the software includes remaining deductible, out–of–pocket limits and co–insurance.
