Kundu SD et al. – Review focuses on the assessment and surgical treatment of lymph nodes in upper tract-transitional cell carcinoma (UT-TCC).
- Because of the low incidence of TCC of kidney and ureter limited data exists regarding the appropriate management of regional retroperitoneal lymph nodes
- Lymph node metastases is associated with an adverse prognosis
- Neoadjuvant chemotherapy for patients with muscle-invasive bladder TCC results in improved disease-specific outcomes
