Aguilar B et al. - A 67-year-old man presented with gross hematuria. Magnetic resonance imaging showed a 900-mL cystic mass, in continuity to the basal left side of the prostate, that laterally compressed the bladder. Phyllodes tumor of the prostate is a rare tumor composed of hyperplastic and neoplastic glandular-stromal proliferation. The tumor grade has an effect on the prognosis, although if not completely resected, even low-grade tumors can recur, metastasize, or differentiate into sarcoma.
