Diagnostic Value of a Urine-Based Tumor Marker for Screening Lower Urinary Tract in Low-Risk Patients with Asymptomatic Microscopic Hematuria
Urologia Internationalis, 08/22/2011
Sagnak L et al. – Authors recommend in evaluation of low–risk patients with microscopic hematuria (AMH) that, as an initial test, two non–invasive and cost–effective methods be chosen: an upper tract imaging by ultrasonography (USG) as recommended by guidelines, followed by an NMP22BC test for lower tract investigation instead of urine cytology.
