Long JA et al. – Robotic partial nephrectomy provides functional outcomes comparable to those of laparoscopic partial nephrectomy for moderate– to high–complexity tumors, but with a significantly lower risk of conversion to radical nephrectomy. This situation is likely because of the technical advantages offered by the articulated robotic instruments.
