TURP and sex: patient and partner prospective 12 years follow-up study
BJU International, 07/05/2011
Mishriki SF et al. – Erectile dysfunction associated with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) frequently precedes transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). The TURP did not adversely affect sexual function. Pre–operative erectile dysfunction can be improved by TURP and long–term sexual function is maintained after TURP. These findings, corroborated by the partners, were statistically significant.
