Dapoxetine: a guide to its use in premature ejaculation

Dapoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, is indicated for the treatment of premature ejaculation in men aged 18–64 years. In well designed clinical trials in men with premature ejaculation, treatment with dapoxetine significantly increased intravaginal ejaculation latency times relative to placebo and was generally well tolerated.
