Plaza–Martínez A et al. – The authors report a case of an isolated ruptured iliac artery aneurysm that had previously been treated, 25 months before, with iliac endovascular exclusion. Urgent computed tomographic scan showed the retroperitoneal hematoma and a type IA endoleak. On an emergency basis, at the operating room, an aortouni–iliac graft and femorofemoral crossover bypass were performed, successfully. This is a very rare but serious complication and requires careful indication and close follow–up with CT.
