Gourlay DM et al. – Successful thoracoscopic CDH repair can be expected in newborns, which has limited respiratory compromise. Thoracoscopic CDH repair is associated with lower morbidity and quicker recovery than traditional open repair and without increased risk of recurrence or complications.
