Bilotta F et al. – Overweight and obese patients are at especially high risk for delayed awakening after general surgery. In overweight and obese patients undergoing craniotomy desflurane–based anesthesia allows earlier postoperative cognitive recovery and reversal to normocapnia and normal pH.
