Xu F et al. – A MP was demonstrated to be an independent unfavorable prognostic indicator in TNM stages I and II by the multivariate Cox proportional hazard model. Colorectal carcinoma with a MP should be distinguished from colorectal carcinoma of conventional histologic type.
