Garwood ER et al. – The authors report a case of spontaneous intraperitoneal hemorrhage from a ruptured mesenteric branch artery aneurysm in a patient presenting with syncope. Emergency exploratory laparotomy revealed a large jejunal mesenteric hematoma accompanying a ruptured mesenteric branch artery aneurysm with active extravasation.
