Ohno K et al. – The combination of catheter enterostomy and patch repair of the abdominal wall does not require dissection of the intestine and it can be safely performed in low–birth–weight babies. It also enables feeding and weight gain, and the overlying skin prevents contamination of the artificial sheet.
