Ting J et al. - The anterolateral thigh (ALT) pedicled flap is a reliable flap based on perforators of the lateral circumflex femoral system. It has been used extensively to cover local defects in the groin and thigh regions. However, due to restrictions in the pedicle length, it has only been used as cranially as the lower abdominal region.
