Falcoz PE et al. - Bronchioloalveolar carcinoma is a rare, but well-known disease that symptomatically worsens with intrapulmonary shunting and consequent hypoxemia. Surgical resection of the involved area offers relief from disabling hypoxemia and may improve survival.
