Lu Q et al. - A 34-year-old man had a 1.1cm flying metallic fragment embedded in a wound in his neck, which migrated over a period of time to lodge finally inside his right internal jugular vein. Angioplasty balloons were placed in the internal jugular vein and the superior vena cava to keep the fragment from moving with the blood flow during surgery.
