Milne CT et al. - Although facility data suggested above-average pressure ulcer prevalence in the institution, no comparative benchmark or reports of process improvement initiatives in the LTACH setting was found in the literature. The purpose of the initiative described herein was to improve care processes to prevent and treat pressure ulcers.
