Fornier, M.N., et al. - Treatment with weekly, sequential docetaxel followed by flavopiridol, a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, is safe and effective; flavopiridol enhances the effects of docetaxel Methods 27 patients with various tumors were enrolled (pancreas, breast, and ovarian) Docetaxel (35 mg/m2) followed 4h later by escalating doses of flavopiridol (20-80 mg/kg2) was administered for 3 wks of each 4 wk cycle Results CR was observed in 1 patient with pancreatic cancer PR was observed in 1 patient with pancreatic, 2 patients with breast, and 1 patient with ovarian cancer Stable disease occurred in 10 patients One dose-limiting toxicity occurred at 70 mg/kg2 and 1 at 80 mg/kg2
