Bajaj JS et al. – Cognitive tests, particularly inhibitory control test (ICT), remain valid as predictors of hepatic encephalopathy (HE) in the face of psychiatric diseases and medications. selective serotonin–reuptake inhibitors(SSRI) use is associated with better cognitive performance and reduced likelihood of developing HE.
