Dinning PG et al. – In patients with slow–transit constipation, suprasensory sacral nerve stimulation (SNS) increased the frequency of colonic PSs, whereas subsensory SNS stimulation did not. This has implications for the design of therapeutic trials and the clinical application of the device.
