Schencking M et al. – Hydrotherapy is a non-invasive, non-interventional, reasonably-priced, therapeutic option with few side effects in the concomitant treatment of OA of the hip or knee.
Methods- Prospective, randomised, controlled 3-armed clinical trial
- 180 patients with OA of the hip or knee were randomly assigned to undergo hydrotheray, physiotherapy, or both
- Results will be based on clinical assessment by the investigator, subjective patient assessment consisting of a patient diary, and questionnaires on admission and at the end of tx
