Kabasakal Y et al. – Study concludes that the ratio of treatment of active sacroiliitis, especially in early period, with sulphasalazine (SLZ) as a disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARD) is better than methotrexate (MTX) or MTX + SLZ, but this difference is not statistically significant. A prospective study of the treatment of active sacroiliitis by DMARDs may be more illustrative.
