Exclusive Author Commentary
DJ Todd, 07/15/09

We present a case of Diffuse Alveolar Hemorrhage seen by physicians in our lupus center at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She had a difficult course, which allowed us to familiarize ourselves with the various features of DAH and treatment options. This report summarizes those findings and should prove insightful for clinicians who see these patients. In summary, DAH in the setting of lupus is a serious and life-threatening condition that may be fatal despite aggressive therapy. We welcome comments - feel free to email me at dtodd1@partners.org.
