Janssens HJ et al. - The investigators report that after 90 hours of treatment, the reduction in pain scores—44.7 for prednisolone and 46 for naproxen on a 0- to 100-millimeter visual analog scale, with 100 being the worst pain—suggested equivalence between the drugs. The groups had no significant differences in numbers of adverse events, such as gastric pain, itching or dizziness.
