Jain A et al. - High sensitivity and specificity of PCR and histopathology can be useful for early diagnosis of paucibacillary osteoarticular tuberculosis. However, once a tissue is procured it should be subjected to AFB staining, AFB culture sensitivity, PCR and histopathology in all the cases.
