Th1 and Th17 lymphocytes expressing CD161 are implicated in giant cell arteritis and polymyalgia rheumatica pathogenesis
Arthritis & Rheumatism, 07/27/2012
Samson M et al. – The findings demonstrate for the first time that Treg are decreased in Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA) and PolyMyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) and that CD161+CD4+T lymphocytes, differentiated into Th1 and Th17 cells, are involved in GCA and PMR pathogenesis.
