Prognostic Factors for Reduction of Activities of Daily Living Following Osteoporotic Vertebral Fractures
Spine, 06/01/2012
Matsumoto T et al. – The results identified presence of middle column injury of the vertebral body and lack of regular exercise before fracture as prognostic factors for reduced activities of daily living. With clarification and validation, these risk factors may provide crucial tools for determining subsequent osteoporotic vertebral fracture treatments. Patients showing these prognostic factors should be observed carefully and treated with more intensive treatment options.
