The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is accepting comments through Nov. 3 on a proposed change to the reporting period for the Medicare wage index occupational mix survey. The survey collects data every three years on the occupational mix of hospital employees, in order to construct an occupational mix adjustment to the wage index.
