Interventional Radiology - Image-guided minimal invasive procedures for treatment of neurological diseases
Anästhesiologie, Intensivmedizin, Notfallmedizin, Schmerztherapie : AINS, 10/27/09
Skalej M – Neurological diseases can be treated more and more by minimal–invasive procedures. Most of them are performed under X–ray control in general anesthesia. In some diseases the minimal–invasive therapy is superior to medical or surgical therapy. In other cases final evaluation can not be made so far. At least basic knowledge about the underlying disease and the used techniques should be present.
