Radiofrequency ablation: another treatment option for local control of desmoid tumors

Ilaslan H et al. – The authors have used radiofrequency ablation to treat five desmoid tumors in four patients. Complications were seen in two patients; one patient had cellulitis and another had soft tissue necrosis. Clinical follow–up was available for all four patients and ranged from 4–68 months.
