Quantification of Left Ventricular Parameters Obtained by Automated Software for 64-Slice Multidetector Computed Tomography and Comparison with Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, 09/30/09
Akram K et al. – EF, ESV, and EDV obtained by MDCT using simple, automated software correlated very well with CMR; SV and MM showed good correlation. Automated analysis of volumetric parameters by MDCT can be reliably utilized for clinical purposes.
Kamran Akram, 09/30/09
| Our study showed that the new automated software validated in our study produces reliable volumetric parameters when used with datasets from retrospective gated CTA studies. It obviates the time-consuming process of manual contouring and effectively saves time in every days practise. |
