Goldstein DS et al. – In PD, SH is associated with augmented striatal 6–18F–fluorodopa–derived radioactivity. Regardless of SH, retention of 6–18F–fluorodopa–derived radioactivity is markedly reduced. A model–independent approach can identify striatal dopaminergic denervation in PD.
