Delayed Acquisition and Hyperglycemia Improve Brain Metastasis Detection on F-18 FDG PET
Clinical Nuclear Medicine , 07/28/09
Farid K et al. – This single case illustrates that delayed acquisition combined with hyperglycemia might improve the sensitivity of F–18 FDG–PET imaging in the detection of brain metastases. Further studies are needed to confirm this result.
