Disruption of limbic white matter pathways in mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimers disease: A DTI/FDG-PET Study
Human Brain Mapping, 03/12/2012
Bozoki AC et al. – Disruption of limbic white matter (WM) pathways is evident during both mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's disease (AD). Disconnection of the PCC from medial temporal lobe (MTL) at the cingulum bundle contributes to PCC hypometabolism during incipient AD.
