Transcranial sonography in Wilsons disease
Parkinsonism & Related Disorders, 03/02/2012
Svetel M et al. – There is only one report of transcranial sonography (TCS) in Wilson’s disease (WD) previous to the study. Both studies proved the ability of TCS to detect accumulation of copper and probably other trace metals, such as iron and manganese, in the basal ganglia (BG) of Wilson’s disease (WD) patients.
