T2WI MRI and MRI-MDCT correlations of the osteoporotic vertebral compressive fractures

Kazawa N – The various vertebral body signal patterns were observed in osteoporotic compressive fracture on T2WI. By MRI–CT correlations, high signal and low signal area on T2WI corresponded to the bone marrow edema, and the fibrous tissue or callus formation respectively.
