Evaluating joint-space narrowing and cartilage loss in rheumatoid arthritis using MRI Full Text
Arthritis Research & Therapy, 05/31/2012
Peterfy CG et al. – This validation exercise suggests that magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) joint–space narrowing (JSN) scoring may offer a viable alternative to radiography (XR) JSN scoring in multi–center clinical trials of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). However, MRI's relative longitudinal sensitivity to change and ability to discriminate therapeutic effect on JSN were not evaluated in this study.
