The negative predictive value of positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography(PET/CT) in pancreatic lesions suggestive of pancreatic cancer was 75%. A negative PET/CT does not exclude pancreatic cancer, and further workup of these PET–negative lesions is warranted.
