Ohtsuka M et al. – The authors have developed a modified cyclodextrin solid medium using the selective antibiotic, cefdinir. MCS medium exhibited higher sensitivity and greater inhibition of nasopharyngeal flora than Bordet–Gengou agar or cyclodextrin solid medium.
