Crocker D et al. – Children with asthma in this large, multi–state survey had dramatic underuse of ICS. Black and Hispanic children compared with whites had more indicators of poorly controlled asthma, including increased emergency health care utilization, more daily rescue medication use, and less use of ICS regardless of symptom control.
