O’Byrne PM et al. – Smoking asthmatics, not treated with ICS, have a greater decline in lung function than nonsmoking asthmatics. The benefits of inhaled budesonide on preventing lung function decline are similar in smokers and nonsmokers with mild persistent asthma.
