Mechanism Regulating Pro-Asthmatic Effects of Prolonged Homologous beat-2-Adrenergic Receptor Desensitization in Airway Smooth Muscle
Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology, 08/10/09
Nino G et al. – The findings identify that the pro–asthmatic changes in ASM function resulting from prolonged homologous beta–2AR desensitization are attributed to upregulated PDE4 expression induced by Gi–beta–gamma–mediated cross–talk between the PKA and ERK1/2 signaling pathways.
