Janata KM et al. - Elevated troponin T independently predicts in hospital and one year mortality in patients with acute pulmonary embolism.

Exclusive Author Commentary
K.M. Janata, 06/25/09

Dear Reader We are able to demonstrate the predictive value of troponin T on short and long-term outcome in patients withconfirmed pulmonary embolism. The data are derived from a large study cohort with the so far longest observation period. Also of interest are our epidemiological data on symptoms, clinical signs and causes of mortality in pulmonary embolism. Yours sincerely Karin Janata
