Incidence and outcome of weaning from mechanical ventilation according to new categories
European Respiratory Journal , 06/19/09

S. HARTL, 06/20/09
| Our study showed that the implementation of the Weaning Guidelines ( Weaning from mechanical ventilation ERJ 2007) in daily practice of ICUs helps to identify patients who will need a long term treatment and might benefit from referal to a weaning center. Including the Ready to wean judgment into daily evaluation is easy to perform. It may help to better manage the resources of your ICU. |
