Net income for Computer Programs and Systems Inc. increased nearly 15% to $4 million during the first quarter of 2009. Quarterly revenue for the Mobile, Ala.-based community hospital software vendor rose 2% to $30.1 million. The vendor will pay a regular quarterly cash dividend of 36 cents per share on May 26 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 11. For the second quarter, CPSI expects net income of $4.1 million to $4.3 million on revenue of $30 million to $31.5 million.
