Kullmann T et al. - Diagnosis and treatment of cardiac sarcoidosis is a challenging task. The presented case illustrates the importance of systemic ECG in the management of patients with pulmonary sarcoidosis and the utility of cardiac MRI in the diagnostic procedure of cardiac involvement of the disease. It is one of the first reports emphasising the recovery of a bundle branch block under treatment for sarcoidosis. The presented case supports the application of steroid-methotrexate combination in the treatment of cardiac sarcoidosis.
